Falling the trunk of a Leyland Cypress removal in Portland.
Removing a Douglas fir in Portand. The city has to approve any tree removal permit if the tree is within 10 feet of the building or attached structure, if the tree is dead, dying or diseased or if it’s under 20” in diameter. This is a type A permit and you can do 3 of these per calendar year.
We have the right equipment to finish the job.
Finishing up a Douglas fir removal with a crane. We always utilize mobile cranes when removing a large tree when the landscape and access is applicable.
Removing an English Walnut that split on 11/4/22. We had the help of a 30 ton crane to get the tree off the house safely.
Our crew dropping the last section of a Tree of Heaven. These trees are very invasive. Luckily the City of Portland will give an automatic approval for the permit to remove these trees.

- Michael RI called on King‘s to remove three dead trees at my property in Beaverton. It was my second time working with them and, again, they did not disappoint: they were quick to assess, make a fair bid and schedule the removal. The removal of the three trees was done with efficiency, professionalism, and a keen eye for safety of both the crew and the property. Communications have always been easy with Tyler and the team. With this level of service, I will certainly use King‘s again.
- Ben STyler and his crew provided a great experience. Entire process from quote to getting the job done was seamless. Crew showed up on time and did a great job, got the job done quickly and professionally. The company provides an easy financing option through a partner so you can spread the cost across 3 months at no cost or over more time for a fee. This was helpful for me and is yet another reason that I will definitely call King’s next time I need tree service.
- John DWe had a very large diseased elm tree in front of our house that needed to be removed. We contacted three companies for bids and Tyler from King’s Tree Service responded very quickly. He came out and looked at the tree the next day and sent me a bid that same day. After the other bids came in, we decided to go with King’s Tree Service and we were very pleased with their service. Tyler was great to work with, he was very responsive to all our questions and accommodated our needs. The work they did was great also. They removed the tree without any problems and cleaned up well. Because the tree was so large we had to close the street so our neighbors were affected as well. After they finished the work several of our neighbors told us that they appreciated the work that King’s Tree Service did.
